It is a profound honor to serve as the 32nd Chapter President in our chapter’s distinguished history. I take on this responsibility with humility, gratitude, and a deep commitment to strengthening the impact of our Brotherhood across Denver and throughout the Rocky Mountain District and Western Region.
Alpha Phi Alpha has been part of the Denver community for more than a century, with the Alpha Iota chapter established in 1922 during the Fraternity’s early growth in the West. That legacy expanded with the founding of Delta Psi Lambda on May 21, 1949, led by charter members,
several of whom were former Alpha Iota brothers. Today, we carry forward a tradition defined by manly deeds, scholarship, and love for all mankind through service and strong brotherhood.
As we honor the past, we stay focused on Alpha’s mission to develop leaders, promote brotherhood and academic excellence, and provide service and advocacy for our communities. Delta Psi Lambda advances this mission through youth mentorship, voter advocacy, scholarship
support, social justice engagement, community outreach, support for our senior brothers, and the ongoing work of strengthening the bonds among brothers.
Our purpose is clear, and our motto still guides how we show up for Denver. FIRST OF ALL, SERVANTS OF ALL, WE SHALL TRANSCEND ALL. Thank you for visiting and learning more about the Denver Alphas. Whether you are a community partner, supporter, or a brother looking to reconnect, I invite you to engage with us
as we continue building a stronger chapter and a stronger community together.
Sincerely,
Javon Brame [BK '09] | ΔΨΛ
President
