The Young Men of Alpha Program is a combination of Alpha’s National Programs Go to Highschool Go to College and Project Alpha. The program started in 2010 and has grown year over year. This year Approximately forty young men are participating in the program ranging from 6th to 12th graders. The program consists of health dialogue on education, personal responsibility, teenage pregnancy, etc. We also engage the young men in outside activities and expose them to a wide variety of healthy experiences that they can take with them through life. We are proud to say that many of the young men that have gone through the program have gone on to graduate from college and now serve as mentors in the program.
The City of Denver has recognized the program by awarding it the “My Brother’s Keeper” Award in 2018 and 2019.
